This frame dates back to 1991. It's a team frame (made from tange prestige) and comes complete with a retro 1" headtube. Originally saw action as a hack bike, replacing the sadly departed Shogun.
Following the demise of the Manitou 3s on my Cannondale the Stumpjumper was pressed into service as my good bike with a nice set of Judy SLs. It even saw some downhill racing in this form.
Retired back to hack bike for a while, then rebuilt as a town/work bike. Rode it a couple of times in this form but the position was a little brutal. Now finally rebuilt as a singlespeed.
